Exploring Italy’s Mountain Gems: Things to Do in Val di Fassa and Alto Adige

In response to the burgeoning demand for mountain destinations in Italy, our team from Hotel, Service, and Product departments visited Val di Fassa and Alto Adige to uncover new territories. Join us on an incredible journey into the heart of Italy’s mountain wonders, as we explore the unique and picturesque regions of Trentino Alto Adige.

Discovering Val di Fassa

Nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, Val di Fassa is a valley of stunning beauty and vibrant culture. Hosted by Azienda per il Turismo Val di Fassa, we were given a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the valley. The breath-taking scenery and rich Ladin heritage were truly captivating, making it a prime destination for our clients.

Exploring Passo Pordoi and Beyond

From Val di Fassa, we ventured to Passo Pordoi, a high mountain pass offering panoramic views that are nothing short of spectacular. This area is a haven for both winter sports enthusiasts and summer hikers. Our exploration continued to Ortisei, known for its artistic wood carvings and picturesque settings, which added another layer of charm to our itinerary.

The Serenity of Lake Braies and Dobbiaco

Lake Braies, with its emerald green waters, left an indelible mark on us. This serene location is perfect for those seeking tranquility amidst nature. Dobbiaco and its lake further enhanced our journey with pristine environments and opportunities for outdoor activities, appealing to a wide range of travellers.

Iconic Landmarks: Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Lagazuoi Cable Car

No trip to this region would be complete without witnessing the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. These three towering peaks are a testament to the grandeur of the Dolomites. The Lagazuoi Cable Car provided a thrilling ascent to incredible heights, offering views that were both exhilarating and awe-inspiring.

The Cultural Hubs: Bolzano and Cortina

Our trip also included visits to Bolzano, a city that beautifully blends Italian and Austrian influences, and Cortina, known as the Queen of the Dolomites. These cultural hubs offered us insights into the local lifestyle and potential opportunities for collaboration with local businesses.

Our adventure in the Dolomites was productive and incredibly inspiring. We forged new partnerships and strengthened existing ones, ensuring that our clients will have access to some of the most beautiful and diverse destinations in Italy. A heartfelt thank you to our partners in the area for their hospitality and collaboration.
