MY DAY-TO-DAY

A Dynamic and Motivating Role

No two days are ever the same! Working with clients from various industries keeps my role exciting. We have a great international team, and even though we may not be in the office every day, we maintain a strong connection and team spirit. Together, we search for the best solutions that fit our clients' profiles and budgets, staying innovative and up-to-date with new venues and opportunities.

The beauty of this job lies in its variety—from managing logistics for a small group to organising a large-scale event with simultaneous activities and gala dinners in breathtaking locations!

WHY TRAVEL?

A Passion for Travel, Events, and People

I've always been passionate about travel, events, people, and organisation—four essential ingredients for keeping me passionate about working in this industry. Additionally, the dynamic nature of the work and the opportunity to use my creativity to solve challenges inspire me every day to improve and excel. Even after 16 years, I continue to be amazed by how adaptable and resilient our industry is—especially COVID being a prime example of how we can evolve and thrive during challenging times.

The possibilities are endless, and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else!

WHY KUONI TUMLARE?

A Perfect Match

Kuoni Tumlare’s long-standing history and stability give me the security I value in a company. I also love being part of an international company, as it offers me endless opportunities to learn, grow and connect with people worldwide. Most importantly, I share the same values as our company, which is essential to me both personally and professionally.

CORE VALUE

Respect and Grit

While I believe all six core values are crucial to success, if I had to choose, I would say Respect and Grit. Respect lays the foundation of every strong relationship in life—personal or professional. Grit drives us to go the extra mile for our clients and partners, ensuring excellence in everything we do.

PROUDEST MOMENT

Overcoming Challenges with Confidence

One of the most challenging moments was when I first joined the company and took over a critical event. The project had already passed through multiple project managers before landing in my hands. The biggest challenge is that all communication was in French— (a language I do not speak) and the event was in Luxembourg—a destination that I wasn’t familiar with.

Despite these hurdles, I quickly adapted, learning about the destination and managing French-speaking clients in record time. In the end, the event was a huge success, and everyone was happy. I felt an immense sense of pride in how I handled it all!

FAVOURITE DESTINATION

Falling in Love with Amsterdam

It’s almost impossible not to fall in love with Amsterdam. This is definitely the city that stole my heart, and that’s why I decided to stay here. Being Brazilian, I am unaccustomed to this weather, but the city’s charm won me over.

The city is magical—the canals and their “drunk” houses, the lights, the international vibe blended with local traditions, the charming cafés and restaurants, vintage shops, and beautiful museums. Amsterdam offers an incredible mix of everything you’d want from a big city, but on a compact scale, making it perfect for exploring by bike.
